Hergenrether Wedding

I am so happy to share photos from Loren and Kristen's sweet country wedding! I had SO much fun capturing moments from their day and am so grateful to have been a part of it!

Sunflowers were weaved throughout their wedding, which I loved! It was so cheerful and brightened up all their tables! Sunflowers symbolize loyalty and longevity and are known as "happy flowers", a great representation of the bride and groom's relationship!

Kristen and Loren had so many people helping bring their day together- from their cake (which was beautiful!) to the bridal bouquets, to the venue, to the decorations!

They did have a couple of vendors!

The giggly nerves before their first look was precious - there was so much excitement in the air as the minutes quickly ticked by! Kristen had a hidden view of the venue from the bridal suite and spent the afternoon looking out the window while her hair was being done. The boys quickly suited up in the main house and helped set up last minute details before the first look. And thank goodness for maid-of-honor Cactus, who helped with the boutonnieres!

I was petrified the morning of the wedding- I was so nervous to miss a moment or mess up a shot. I was wondering if I had made the right decision to take on my first wedding in my first year of photography. I was so nervous I couldn't even eat breakfast! But as soon as I got to their venue and started shooting all the nerves melted away! There were so many in-between moments of laughter, smiles, and sweet looks from the bride & groom, and their guests, I felt like I blinked and the reception was coming to a close! And yes, I cried twice! During their first look and the beginning of the ceremony! I learned so much from shooting my first wedding! It was not easy but I left their venue with the lightest heart and the biggest smile! Being able to witness love when surrounded by Kristen and Loren's wonderful family was incredible! Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Hergenrether, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to photograph my first wedding!
